Reading Week 3 - ANZAC

ANZAC DAY

For ANZAC Day I got up at 5.45am to go out to the letterbox with my Family and my Nana and Grandad to watch the sunrise and to listen to the ANZAC service on the Radio. There were quite a few other people in our street doing it to. It was quite early and cold but is important to do so we never forget the people who lost their lives.
Here is a word find that i made for different things that I took from what I learned about ANZAC Day.

BRONTE'S ANZAC WORD FIND

  1. Hi Bronte,

You have done some really great research and activities for ANZAC Day. Your questions were well thought about. I bet you all feel very proud and sad that your family was involved in the war. Getting up to remember them at Dawn was a beautiful thing to do. It certainly was interesting to read of your family connection. What do you think it would have been like for them going to war at 16 years old?

  2. Hi Bronte,
You have been so busy preparing and doing lots of different activities for ANZAC day. I might have to give your word find a go - it is hard? I hope not. You have also learnt so many interesting things about ANZAC - well done.
    Miss Gill.
