RECOUNT WRITING: Baking for my Grandparents

First i decided to bake with my mum. Next we got the ingredients out of the cupboard, after that we put all the ingredients in the mixer to make louise cake. We put all the mix into an oven tray and then put it into the oven. When it was cooked we took it out and packed it up.

Then my Dad and I hopped on our bikes to go to my Grandparents house to give them their louise cake.

Last my Dad and I went back home.

I felt happy to learn something new and my grandparents loved it.

  2. Hi Bronte,

What a lovely thing to do for your grandparents. I bet they really enjoyed the Louise Cake. I like the raspberry jam and coconut in this slice. What types of slice or cake do you like?

    What idea for your PBL.
I love that you learnt something new while at the same time you helped someone else.
What are some other things that you know how to bake?

  4. Hi Bronte
I bet your Grandparents loved the louise slice because you made it for them. I really enjoyed how clear your writing was and how you remembered everything in order. Was it fun biking with Dad?
