Multiplication and Division Using rounding and compensating

Hi,

Last week in maths I did multiplication and division using rounding and compensating.

All you do is add some shapes as many as the last number of your question. Then you put the first number of your question into the shape. Then you have to add as many numbers as you need to make the number even and you can take numbers of too.

Have you ever tried to do multiplication and division using rounding and compensating?

  1. Hi Bronte,
I love the way you set this out. I have never done division and multiplication with rounding and compensating. But you are very good at it. Maybe next time you could add your goal in.
    Keep up the great work!!

  2. Kia ora Bronte,
Really nice work! I love how you have not only explained it in your slideshow but in your writing too. Next time maybe make your font a bit bigger it is very hard to read your learning goal on slide 1. But over all this is a really great slideshow. Yes I have tried to do multiplication and division using rounding and compensating.
